Beau Missile is a very handsome 2008 Thoroughbred 16.1h, chestnut gelding for sale. “Boomer is a laid back, quiet horse, with smooth soft easy to ride gaits that prefers to ride western. He has been with a professional trainer for the past 4 years competing in Eventing ( combination of jumping and Dressage), however the jumping portion while at competitions causes him some anxiety, so he has been retired sound from any kind of jumping competitions. Boomer is very quiet while competing in Dressage and loves trail rides, especially if there is water he can go into! He has currently started his new career in Western Dressage and is doing very well. He went to his 1st Western Dressage competition in July and did well, also stress free! His trainer has been working on neck reining with him and he is doing great! Boomer is well trained to longe and can be longed in or out of a round pen easily without dragging his handler around. Boomer is very brave and not spooky. He does need an intermediate rider due to his size, a rider who is confident at both trot and lope, he’s not suitable for a child or beginner rider. He needs someone to be firm with him on the ground as he can sometimes be a bit pushy. He loads and unloads in and out of the trailer with ease. Boomer is sound with no health issues, UTD on everything and has been well cared for, wears front shoes. A good home is a must for this horse, as it has been a sad, tough decision to sell him. Asking $6000, possibly negotiable to the perfect home. For more details please call 817-637-4585 located in Aledo, ( SW Fort Worth TX).
“Pistol River” 2012, 15.3, with a wide heart girth, good bone, Warm Blood gelding. Easy, willing, ready to show, with a lot of scope to move up! River has been in professional training for the past year and half with an Eventing trainer and has shown successfully through beginner novice (2’-7”) and has been schooling up to 3’ with ease and confidence. As an Eventer he will need more work on his Dressage skills, but really excels in jumping. He would make a great jumper! Never spooky, very brave, with a just right pace for a rider coming up through the levels. River is gentle and quiet, but he can have a rather large explosive jump, so he will probably need a rider who already has some jumping experience. Sound and UTD on everything, loads in the trailer exceptionally well, stands for the farrier, very easy on the ground with impeccable manners. Fifteen zero zero zero, 817-637-4585. Fort Worth Area.
